Habitat
Dry sclerophyll. Syncarpia glomulifera, Eucalyptus, Leptospermum, Allocasuarina. Solitary. On sand.

Description
Pileus 6.5 cm broad, plano-convex, dry, matted lanose, pale brown to tan. Flesh white, barely with a pale orangish tint when exposed becoming black. Tubes adnexed, brownish gray, staining pale orangish then black. Stipe 7 cm x 1 cm, lightly narrower toward base, dry, reticulated and grayish brown above, darker brown toward base and sublanose but without a trace of a veil, with interior black when exposed.
