Australia. Queensland. Great Sandy National Park, Fraser Island, Northern Road approx 3 Km E of Central Station between inbound and outbound Eurong tracks.

Sclerophyll. Syncarpia, Eucalyptus, Lophostemon. On sand.

Description
Solitary. Pileus pale yellow with fine, densely packed appressed squamulose scales, these latter pale brown. Flesh white, cyanescent but not deeply and intensely so. Stipe yellowish white above, brown below, heavily appressed tomentose, becoming chambered below. Tubes whitish, unchanging, with pores a pale yellow, cyanescent. This is the "cyanescens" entity that is less intensely bluing.
