Georeferencing Method
Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, Version 2012. Georeferenced to the approximate midpoint between the geographic center of the city of Monte Dourado and the geographic center of the city of Munguba in Para, BR. Using Google Maps - Satellite View, located the approximate geographic centers of the cities of Monte Dourado and Munguba. Used Distance Measurement Tool (Google Maps) to measure a straight line between the geographic centers of the cities; halved this distance to approximate the location of the midpoint between the cities. Used Canadensys Lat/Long Crosshairs to find the midpoint, at approximately the halved distance between the cities. Input coordinates, linear extent (distance from the midpoint to the farthest extent of the segment between the cities, 6593.67 m.), and measurement error (.01 m.) into the MaNIS Georeferencing Calculator to find the uncertainty radius (according to Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, Named Place: Between two Places).
