Description

Tree. Cespitose palm, 15 m tall, 20 cm in diameter. Trunk covered with spines, but some individuals without spines. Leaf sheath open, 30 cm long, no crown shaft. Petiole 90 cm long, rachis 2.9 m long. Leaves pinnate, 18-22 per stem. Top pinnea 50 cm long, middl. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
