Description
In forest near pampa, very abundant. Solitary palm, 10 m tall, 30 cm in diameter, few roots visible at base, spines absent. Leaves 8-10 per stem, leaf sheath closed. Crown shaft present, ca. 1.20 cm long, emarginated petiole section. Petiole length 80 cm, rachis 2.5 m. Lamina pinnate, lamina.
