Habitat
Mixed forest, regrowth vegetation on old road and farm. In overgrown fields on ridge. Locally abundant.

Description
Tree to 8 m, trunks to 0.3 m dbh. Bark grey and white, smooth; leaves to 0.7 m, orange tan below; flower with anthers purple; young fruit purple pink, 1.3 cm, 0.8 cm dia. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
