Guyana. Potaro-Siparuni. Pakaraima Mts, Mt. Wokomung, ridgeline 0.5 km NE of Wokomung escarpment adjacent Ka-Mie-Wah pinnacle.

Habitat
Medium canopy cloud forest, 20-30 m. Melastomataceae, Arecaceae, Clusiaceae, mixed hardwoods and abundant pteridophytes. Organic soils on sand with numerous sandstone boulders.

Description
Tree 8 m; leaves coppery below; fruit brown to dark purple, globose, 0.6 cm dia. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
