    Stem solitary, 3.8 m tall, 80 cm diam, covered with persistent leaf Sheath. Leaves 20; Sheath 178 cm long; Petiole 20 cm long; Rachis 947 cm long; Pinnae273 per side, regularly arranged but spreading in different planes. Inflorescence interfoli.
