mixed dipterocarp forest on steep slopes; Koompassia excelsa frequent.

Description
Tree 20 m x 18 cm diam, large lenticels, in many spots rather deeply fissured, shed in irregular elongate plates to ca. 5 cm long. Leaves 5--6-jugate. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
