    Appressed-climbing hemiepiphyte; juvenile leaves shingled, medium green and matte above, moderately paler and weakly glossy below; adult plants with internodes dark green, weakly glossy to semiglossy, smooth, weakly flattened obtusely on one side, 3-5 cm long, 1.5 cm diam.; petioles 25-48 cm long, sheathed throughout to geniculum; sheath erect-incurled, medium green, weakly glossy, smooth, unmarked; sheath erect-incurled; blades moderately coriaceous, dark green and weakly glossy above, much paler and deeply sunken, concolorous above; midrib narrowly raised and moderately paler below; primary lateral veins convex and whitish below; minor veins moderately obscure.
