    Arbolito de 2-3 m. Flores terminales 5-meras de pétalos rosados. Estambres (10) amarillos. Filamentos rosados. Estilo blanco con el estigma extendido. Domacios de hojas expuestas al sol de color amarillo. Hormigas muy agresivas. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Río Negro, Amazonas, Venezuela. Using Google Maps - Satellite View, located the airport of San Carlos de Río Negro. Used the Distance Measurement Tool (Google Maps) to find the total extent of the airport campus then halved this distance to approximate the location of the midpoint of the airport. Measured to approximately this halved distance from one extreme of the airport toward the center; used Canadensys Lat/Long Crosshairs to find the coordinates of the geographic center. Used the Distance Measurement Tool (Google Maps) to find the linear extent of the airport by measuring from the selected coordinates to the farthest extent of the airport campus.
