Dominican Republic. Sierra de Neiba, along the Carretera Internacional near the crest of the range, along the Haitian border, vic. line between provinces of San Rafael and Independencia.

Habitat
At top of shady road-cut. Essentially virgin rain-forest on limestone mountains. One plant seen.

Description
Small shrub, most stems arching-pendent. Flower inconspicuous, corolla creamy, ovary pale yellow-green, reddish above. Petiole and lower midrib reddish. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
