    Trailing subshrub, the stems nearly 1 m long, very slender, rooting at the nodes; flowers on erect shoots, nodding, the petals reflexed, pink; stamens exserted; fruit green, beginning to turn red, sour; growing in wet soil with Sphagnum and Eriophorum.
