steep roadside slopes through montane cloud forest. abundant, little in flower.

Description
terrestrial shrub with branches arching to 2 m long; stems producingbulbous outgrowths beneath the soil. pedicels and calyx pale yellowish-green suffused with pink; corolla white; mature fruits purple.
