Xeric shrub community; plant cover 20%, rock cover 20%, locally 60%; slope 20°E; soil pinkish tan, developed on sandstone, of low organic content. Atriplex confertifolia, Larrea tridentata, Hymeoclea salsola, Lycium andersonii. Common.
