Description
Pileus 5.5-13.2 cm, convex, smooth, wet, finely fibrous, orange (6B7, 6C7), margins even, the younger basidiomes present fragments in the pileus surface. Hymenophore poroid, pale yellowish when young (4A3), becoming yellow ochraceous (4B5), tubes pale pinkish (6A2), free. Stipe 9.3-12 x 0.9-1.5-3.3 cm, presents a dark reticulum (8F6), the base is paler with no reticulum, it turns blue (24A5) when bruised. Flesh whitish, turning blue at the stipe when exposed. Odor and tate mild. Digital pictures Tissue in culture. Color codes: Methuen.
