Primary lowland	forest on barik of
Nickerie River, Tree, 12-15 m long,
overhanging river, very common; leaf
midvein and secondary veins yellow;
fruit red to marooh when ripe,
somewhat bladder-shaped, ca. 1.5 cm
long, 1 cm broad, with thin white line
running longitudinally medially around
both green and ripe fruits.
