Shrub to 1 m. Flowers to 3 cm diam., 5 cm. long.
Corolla tube & free petal lobes orange, blotched
red. Filaments & style appressed to upper part of
corolla tube, emerging as a mass sticking together
with their own tomentum. Style bright red, curved;
stigma yellow. Capsule enclosed in persistent calyx;
to 1 cm long x 7 mm wide. Style persistent. NICKEL
hyperaccumulator.
