    Low-tree cerrado woodland ("chapada " in local terminology). Almost no shrubs; only grass & low trees with a few scattered trees over 7 m tall.

    Subshrub 1m tall with hard stiff leaves, 1-2 stems per plant. Petals & filaments white, ovary green. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
