    United States of America. Utah. San Juan Co. Off FSR 88, at the Notch, along Notch Trail into the east end of Dark Canyon, ca. 1/4 mile above canyon floor.

  • Habitat

    In drainage (where trail crosses then follows drainage). With Pseudotsuga menziesii, Yucca angustissima, Penstemon eatoni, P. navajoa, Erigeron kachinensis, Pinus ponderosa, Heuchera parvifolia utahensis, Sedum lanceolatum, Symphoricarpos oreophilus, Juniperus communis, Berberis repens, Acer negundo, A. grandidentatum, Populus tremuloides, Smilacina stellata, Viola adunca, Mertensia franciscana, Clematis columbiana, Lithospermum multiflorum, Cryptantha flavoculata, Ipomopsis aggregata, Holodiscus dumosus, Quercus gambelii, Castilleja linariifolia, Lupinus argenteus palmeri, Balsamorhiza sagittata. Locally common here but seen elsewhere in area but in bud only, these on east-facing bank of drainage.
