    Exposed windswept granitic ridge. Leeward (SW-facing) pediment of coarse granite cobbles with cushion-type dwarfed vegetation. East-facing slopes with more mesic shrub, with Purshia tridentata, Chrysothamnus viscidiflorus, Artemisia tridentata, Ephedra viridis, Pinus monophylla, Mentzelia congesta. Occasional in scrub.
