Habitat
Growing out of the rapidly running clear water of the stream, in a low, narrow gallery.

Description
Tree, 6 m. tall, 30 cm. dbh. Bark grey with longitudinal striations, scaling. Flowers yellowish cream with a band of pale orange hairs around the base of the ovary. Flowers full of thrips (Thysanoptera). Phenology of specimen: Flower.
