In campo among other shrubs & small trees near gallery forest margin.

Description
Tree or shrub to c. 5 m with small grey stem and a few spindly ascending branches. Leaves thin, broadly alliptic with blunt zpex. Youngest shoots with scurfy dull bron indumentum, otherwise plant glabrous. Leaves mid green above, pale beneath. Young stems smooth green. Inflorescence a narrow pyramidal panicle. Fruit whitish green at first, becoming purple blue, shining throughout. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
