    Open rocky meadow on N facing slope with large granitic outcrops, forming a ridge meadow at base of a large peak. Growing with Heliamphora.

    Shrub to 1.5m tall; dull green beneath with red midrib; infl. axis and pedicels dull red; immature fr yellowish-pink. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
