Specimen Notes
A single cystocarpic plant in herb. Montagne and a smaller tetrasporic fragment which appears thicker, more corneous and looks like a different thing. Cystocarps are unilaterally very prominent hemispherical or flask-shaped, with wide flaring ostioles. Perhaps a Gracilaria. Compare structure. Photo 64,2 m 4 p.m. Bright. Nat. size. Cystocarp shows Gracilaria structure. Mounted with fragment taken from the type (barcode 00900181).
