Colombia. Chocó. Area of Baudó. On right bank of river Baudó, about 11.5 km upstream from estuary, opposite estuary on Quebrada Angueradó (Camp-site) (=Q. Taparalito on old Shell-map).

Habitat
In muddy soil immediately at waters edge, influenced by salt water during high tide.

Description
Small bushy treelet, 3.5 m high. Leaves with dark-green, glossy upper surface; flowers originating from the stem, petals white, with slight odour of indefinite character, fruits originating from stem, greenish-brown similar to Boskoop apples. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
