Habitat
Grows in large gaps and cleared areas.

Description
Small tree 4 m tall. DBH = 18.5 cm. Lowest growth at 2 m. Mature leaves pinnate, new leaves cordate. Young leaves on small plants cordate as well. Pinnate leaves at base of highest branches. Unripe fruit green and 46.5 mm diameter by 62 mm long. Locals say fruit yellow-orange when ripe. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fertile, Fruit.
