Habitat
Extensive sandstone/shale (Triassic, Newark Supergroup) outcrops along creek, and shaded boulders in mixed hemlock (Tsuga canadensis) - hardwood (Fraxinus, Acer, Betula, Carya, Quercus) forest. On thallus of Caloplaca oxfordensis on rock in stone wall.
