rich fen (about 100 acres). dominated by Carex spp. plus Salix bebbiana and S. discolor (Salix spp. as scattered clumps to dense thickets). Associated with Carex utriculata, Eupatorium maculatum, Salix candida and Typha latifolia. on saturated muck.
