Habitat
a rich fen. dominated by Carex spp. plus Salix bebbiana and S. discolor (Salix spp. as scattered clumps to dense thickets); Marchantia is associated with Carex utriculata, Menyanthes trifoliata, Salix candida & Typha latifolia.
