Habitat
Bottom of steep canyon, humid, with shrubby vegetation, disturbed but mostly with native species. Canna liliiflora, Oreopanax cf. steinbachianus, Solanum sinuatiexcisum.

Description
Shrub 2 m. tall, with several stems to 4 cm. in diameter in a loose clump; branches ascending-spreading; plant viscid. Flowers abundant; corolla hanging, violet; fruit green and hanging, on reflexed pedicels. A handsome plant when well-formed and in flower. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fertile, Fruit.
