Narrow streambottom in lower spruce-fir zone; south aspect. With Salix lasiandra var. caudata, S. boothii, S. drummondiana, Populus tremuloides, Abies lasiocarpa, Ribes hudsonianum, Urtica dioica, Alnus incana and Pinus contorta. Gravelly soil.
