Habitat
In seasonally flooded area close to the river- a campo with a scattering of trees of Tripularis & Tabebuia and bushes of Maytenus & Arrabidaea.

Description
Tree, 5m. tall, with v. slanting trunk ±25 cm. in diam. 1.5 m. from its base. Bark scaling in curving flakes. Flowers pale cream. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
