Habitat
Remains of deciduous forest on calcareous soils.

Description
Tree, 8 m tall, 25 cm dbh. Pale fawn bark with vertical fissures (rather like Tabebuia). Fruiting calyces pale green. Ground below tree covered in dried-up fallen flowers (see capsule). Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
