Bolivia. Santa Cruz. Cordillera Prov. 3 km NW of center of Boyuibe, along highway to Camiri.

Habitat
Along roadside gravel, unshaded. Barrens with Stetsonia coryne the largest and commonest species, also with Acacia, Prosopis, Capparis salicifolia, C. speciosa.

Description
Dense patch. Corolla white; anthers yellow. Fruit hanging, turning light yellow. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.

Notes (shown on label)
Flowers visited by the large white butterfly (Pieridae?) which is so common at this time here (4:30 P.M., sunny), but could scarcely be a pollinator.
