Habitat
In remnants of deciduous forest on good soil. Many trees of the population flowering in leafless condition, others, incl. this one, have a few leaves remaining.

Description
Tree, 8 m tall, 15 cm in diam. at breast height. Cracks in bark exuding gum. Corollas white at anthesis, turning brown later. Flowers being visited by many honey bees. Trees swarming with ants. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
