    Terra firme forest on hilly terrain, canopy open, some patches of Guadua (arborescent bamboo).

  • Description

    Tree. Tree 20 m x 30 cm, outer bark light brown, with many small lenticels, inner bark deep red, inflorescences erect, flowers cream. Approx. 10 m from pistillate individual on mild slope above small streambed (now dry). Phenology of specimen: Flower.
