    Old growth, lowland tropical to subtropical moist forest, lower terrace, younger floodplain, some areas seasonally inundated. Soil moist to wet, sandy, alluvial.

    Herb 1.5 m. Corolla white. Calyx green. Immature fruit green and rugose-rostrate with a small beak. Phenology of specimen: Fertile, Fruit.
