Dry evergreen scrub or low forest, to 10 m tall. Myrtac., Malphigia., & Verben., common, very few terrestrial ferns, almost no vascular epiphytes (few Bromeliads). Disturbed by cattle.

Tree 8 m tall, two figs per leaf, fruit green at base, pink at tip. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
