Slopes, with plants mostly restricted to soil-filled crevices.

Description
Brittle-stemmed shrub to 2m, suckering from base, with few ascending branches above. Leaves crowded at ends of branches. Imbricate, glossy bright green abov, pale beneath, rigid, with pungent odor of Eucalyptus oil. Old calyces with shining golden glands, green, with purple veins and teeth. Flowers pink, the lower lip darker within. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
