  • Description

    Tree, 32 m. Slash red (redder than any other individual seen to date but the tree is old and not healthy). Flower diameters 6.0 x 4.5, 5.0 x 4.3, 4.5 x 3.8, calyx green, petals white, hood white but deep yellow on the appendages, filaments white, anthers creamy yellow. Flowers very fragrant (like hyacinth). In tree at 0830 h. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
