Route BR 116 does not run through either Olindina or Apora; however, it can be reasonably assumed that the collector meant to reference BR 110 (in place of BR 116) which runs parallel to BR 116, and does connect Olindina to Apora. Therefore, georeferenced to 31 km S along BR 110, from the approximate geographic center of Olindina towards Apora, in Mun. Apora, Bahia. Using Google Maps-Satellite View, located BR 110, and the cities of Olindina and Apora. Beginning at the point along BR 110 closest to the approximate geographic center of Olindina (-11.3622411 -38.3287239), used Distance Measurement Tool (Google Maps) to measure approximately 31 km (31.0006 km) S along that road towards Apora. Using Canadensys Lat/Long Crosshairs, found coordinates for the offset. Used Distance Measurement Tool (Google Maps) again to find the linear extent of the starting location of the offset, the city of Olindina, by measuring from the selected starting coordinates near the center of the city to the farthest extent of the city (-11.3502497 -38.3246899). Input coordinates, linear extent (1.37895 km), distance precision (1 km), and measurement error (0.0005 km) into the MaNIS Georeferencing Calculator to find the uncertainty radius (according to the Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, Offset: offset along a path).
