    Veg. cover ca. 70%. Sandy low hills in community of Purshia tridentata-Artemsia tridentata with scattered Juniperus osteosperma, Quercus gambelii, & Artemisia filifolia. Understory with Aristida purpurea, Hilaria jamesii, Euphorbia parryi, Dithyrea, & Linum aristatum. Soil red sand derived from Navajo Sandstone.
