Habitat
On N-facing slope just inland from coastal bluffs; Chaparral. In shade of island cherry. Associated species: Marrubium vulgare, Erigeron foliosus stenophyllus, Mimulus flemingii. Rare.

Description
Shrub 2.5 ft high x 2.5 ft wide; colonial; flowers blue with green dots in center (dots mimic shape of anthers), alternate with stamens; some leaves with 2 basal lobes, mostly without lobes. Phenology of specimen: Flower , Fertile.
