Habitat
Phytogeogr. value: A Sudano-Deccanian species, penetrating into the Saharo-Sindian region and into some tropical countries. Like most other Sudano-Deccanian species of Palestine, this plant is limited to the Lower Jordan Valley, where it is met with generally in the small "enclaves" of the Sud.-Dec. element. Its habitats there are mostly in the "zone d'épandage" of wadies and other non-saline places with more or less moist soil.
