Habitat
Low stature montane forest in cloud zone, tree layer generally [less than or equal to symbol] 10 m, undergrowth profuse, herb layer very well developed.

Description
1-2 m terrestrial shrub; twigs weakly fractiflex; tomentum confined to apical parts; prickles straight, sparse; leaves elliptic, chartaceous, sub-bullate, surfaces medium dull green, stellate hairs distant on both sides; inflorescence 1 or 2 flowers, epedunculate or with very contracted peduncle; petals white, stellately hairy; anthers yellow; fruits globose and green. Phenology of specimen: Fertile, Fruit.
