Notes (shown on label)
The fruits are said to be poisonous and are sometimes eaten by the natives to commit suicide. Miss Skinner of the Apox. Kiung-chow says a Chinese carpenter was recently brought to the hospital and died later, having committed suicide by eating these fruits.
