Description
Herbaceous, strictly annual, to 6 dm tall; main stem erect, soon with divergently ascending branches. Corolla reflexed, white or with age becoming violet-tinged, especially on the outside, with yellow-green star in center; anthers yellow; fruiting peduncles spreading at nearly right angles from stem, the pedicels reflexed; lobes of fruiting calyx not appressed to fruit; berries green, a few turning dark purple, almost black, with dull semi-shiny surface. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
