    Abandoned cultivated field, originally cerrado. Dense growth of shrubs to 2 m. Ground cover of grasses, herbs & ground vines. Soil poor, reddish-brown fine sand, with a little clay.

    Milky sap. Flowers white. Fruit green, pyriform, 1¼ x 4 cm long. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
