Habitat
Flat coastal plain with patches of open marsh/grassland intersered with shrubby hammocks.

Description
Woody vine with milky sap; inflorescense scarlet-red except for light yellow, long-exserted anthers; follicles divergent 180 degrees or more. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
